Band 
The Band serves to ministry to the congregation and work in conjunction with the Choir in order to provide healing and restoration to the people.

Choir 
The purpose of this ministry is to usher in the presence of God for his Glory and the edification of men, women and children. This ministry consists of five distinct choirs for all ages – Vessels of Praise, Men’s, Anointed Voices, Praise Team, and God’s Little Angels. Each Choir with the exception of the Praise Team and God’s Little Angels meet each Monday at 6:00 p.m. at 620 E. Lampton Street on a rotational basis.      

Decision Counselors
The members of this ministry receive those persons who respond to the invitation to accept Christ as their Lord and Savior and/or unite with the Church. Decision Counselors are available at every worship service conducted, ministry concerns every third Saturday at 10:00 a.m.

Drama Ministry
The members of the drama ministry provide the opportunity for children, adults, men and women to fellowship and minister to the saved and unsaved. We give hope and encourage faith as people see their lives played out through spiritual skits or plays through our theatrical infomercials, we hope to inspire and to encourage people to attend and    participate in upcoming events.

Greeters
Greeters in this ministry are stationed at the various entrances around the building to greet and offer assistance to worshippers in the sanctuary. They are among the very first persons members and visitors will meet as they come for worship. 

Media Ministry 
Our purpose is to extend the worship ministry beyond the church walls to those unable to attend worship service. To create a living record of the church for generations to come. To develop a body of material for future study and reference. To inspire and refresh disciples between worship experiences. To evangelize and be a blessing to visitors. Like all ministries, the Media Ministry is an arm of God's Church reaching out to touch the lives of those who otherwise would miss the awe inspiring message of love expressed through the life of Jesus Christ. The Media Office Hours are Sundays and Wednesdays directly following each worship service. 

                                         Nurses Guild
The Nurses Guild seeks to be found faithful in all things. We have a genuine concern for others. We are a Christ centered ministry and are not ashamed to be servants. All persons in this ministry must have CPR training. The Nurses Guild meets the third Saturday of each month at 11:30 a.m.

Parking Ministry
This ministry is an auxiliary of REACH (Men's Ministry). The parking ministry is responsible for promoting safe, courteous parking around Bates Memorial's worship locations as well as during special services away from Bates locations.

Sound
This ministry is taking Bates Memorial Baptist Church into new technological heights as they maneuver state of the art equipment ensuring the worship maintains a high level of consistency and uninterrupted flow of the worship experience.

Ushers 
The ushers assist in setting the appropriate mood for worship and creating positive atmosphere of worship. They assist in the way service is conducted. To usher means to show around or to introduce or escort into a room. It is the art of making members and visitors feel more comfortable and lending Spiritual dignity to the whole worship experience. Ushers are prompt and courteous. The Ushers meet the second Saturday of every other month at 1 p.m.
